Unless, of course, the category is “Times Claimed Off The Waiver Wire.” If that’s the case, then you’re not expecting your agent to get you a better contract, and your pinned tweet doesn’t say “Most wanted man in the NHL.”…

That would be quite a blow to the Amerks if he makes the Sabres. Derek Grant like. I fear the Amerks offense would take a huge hit if he made the Sabres or got claimed. For all of Botterill and Sexton’s talk of turning the Amerks into a winner, Griffith seemed to be front and center to that. I can’t imagine, over the course of the season, he’d be more than a spare part in Buffalo.
